Project: The Perry Hotel

Role: Interior Design Lead (Public Spaces, F&B, Outdoor Amenities)

Summary: Located on Stock Island—a true working marina within Key West—The Perry was conceived to reflect the authentic, working class character of this waterfront community. Joining the project after construction was already underway, the JNS Architecture + Design team navigated a tight budget and timeline, as well as such practical considerations as sourcing stylish, marine-grade outdoor furnishings that would perform in the salt air. This maritime influence extended into the interiors, leveraging details like board-formed concrete, hand-dyed string art, propellers and Ernest Hemingway references to create a sense of meaning and identity that resonated with local residents, while still offering the elevated appeal of a resort.
